Fortnite Hotfix Squashes Duplicate Bats and Adds Event Timers

Epic shipped a Fortnite hotfix on October 21 that fixes a bug where bats appeared as duplicates during Fortnitemares. The patch also speeds up equip actions and adds countdown timers to in-game events, so you know exactly when to drop in.

It follows a maintenance patch on October 20 that improved stability and cleaned up UI issues on console and PC.

Also new in the Item Shop: the Nikki skin from the film Obsession, available as part of the Halloween event.
