Killstreaks win matches, but only if you actually earn them. Modern Warfare 4 makes that easier than you might think.
Objectives count
In MW4, streak progress builds from both kills and objective play. Capturing, defending and holding objectives all add to your streak. If you're not much of a slayer, playing the objective is how you get rewards.
Build a ladder
Run one reliable low-cost streak (the UAV is a classic) alongside higher-tier rewards. The UAV helps your whole team and you'll get it most games, while your bigger streaks reward the good ones.
Stack it with perks
Hardline lowers the cost of every streak. If you keep finishing games one or two kills short of your top reward, Hardline fixes that.
Timing
- Call UAVs right before your team pushes, not straight after you spawn.
- Save air streaks for when the enemy team has used their counters.
- Don't sit on a streak until the match is over. Unused streaks don't win games.
